今日早晚祷言（第十七日）
第十七日 Seventeenth Day
晨祷
天父上帝阿，求祢帮助我们今日行事为人都有智慧。
帮助我们不对试探掉以轻心，不要玩火自焚。
帮助我们从不无谓地或是粗心大意地让自己落入一种处境中，使得试探有机会滥施淫威。
帮助我们的眼从不看不该看的事物，不让我们的思想留驻在不该想的事情上，以免无法抵制这些事物的诱惑。
帮助我们今天每走一步都能定睛在耶稣身上，使祂的光成为我们的引导，祂的同在成为我们的防御，祂的爱成为我们的力量和灵感。
因祢爱的缘故，我们如此祈求。阿们。
In the Morning
O God, our Father, help us to walk with wisdom all this day.
Help us never to flirt with temptation, and never to play with fire.
Help us never needlessly or thoughtlessly to put ourselves into a position in which temptation has the opportunity to exert its power over us.
Help us never to allow our eyes to linger, or our thoughts to dwell, on the forbidden things, lest their fascination be too strong for our resistance.
Help us to walk every step of today looking ever unto Jesus, that His light may be our guide, that His presence may be our defense, and that His love may be our strength and inspiration. This we ask for Thy loves sake. AMEN.
晚祷
天父上帝阿，祢是一切纯全美善的赐恩者，对今天祢为我们所做的一切让我们心存感恩。
求助我们记得今天出入都蒙了祢的保守，且又带领我们到了晚间这一时刻；记得今天祢供应我们吃的和穿的，赐我们生命并保全我们；记得今天祢的保守了我们的灵、魂、体，又用人间的爱和圣爱环绕我们。
天父上帝阿，祢接纳谦卑痛悔的心。求在我们心中置入忏悔，为今天所有的失败，过错，过失等诸罪痛悔。使我们在祢纯全圣洁的面光之中认识自己，看见自己的罪。使我们为每件令自己惭愧，令祢伤心的事，真心痛悔。入睡之前，求赐给我们祢饶恕的吻、平安的吻。
祈求靠赖我主耶稣基督。阿们。
In the Evening
O God, our Father, giver of every good and perfect gift, put into our hearts gratitude for all that you has done for us today.
Help us not to forget that today you has kept us in our going out and our coming in, and has brought us to this evening hour; that today you has fed us and clothed us and given us life and kept us alive; that today you has preserved us in body, mind and spirit, and has surrounded us with love both human and divine.
O God, our Father, who does ever accept the offering of the humble and the contrite heart, put into our hearts penitence for all the failures, the faults, the mistakes, the sins of this day. Make us to see ourselves and our sins in the light of your pure countenance. So make us truly sorry for every wrong thing which has shamed ourselves and grieved you, and then grant us, before we sleep your kiss of pardon and of peace: through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.
