中加国际电影节纽约站在曼哈顿42街AMC电影院放映影片《解救吴先生》

美国久安电视记者崔大卫（David Cui）COCO摄像纽约曼哈顿报导：为了实现中国和加拿大电影同行间的对话和交流，促进加拿大人民对中国电影和中国文化的认识，CCIFF九月底将在加拿大蒙特利尔举办第二届中加国际电影节。

为了让纽约的观众能够先睹中加电影节优秀的电影作品，中国赴加拿大代表团在纽约作了短暂停留，主办单位 CCIFF 特别安排了九月二十四日下午两点在纽约时代广场的AMC Theater 举办了一场电影放映会。选择的电影是由丁晟导演，以十二年前吴若甫被绑架之经历为题材的电影《解救吾先生》。电影由刘德华饰演吴若甫的角色，吴若甫本人则饰演破桉之主要特警。

中国驻纽约总领馆文化参赞李立言出席了放映会并作了简短的讲话，他说："我们的电影作为文化交流一个重要的形式和载体，近年来非常的活跃。在纽约我们也经常性能看到中国带来的优秀影片和团队，在这里介绍中国的电影事业的最新发展。” 李立言参赞还说：“过几天就是我们的中美两国的社会、人文对话开启了，在这个时候有一个电影的活动也是为这个对话活动增光添彩。”

中加国际电影节主席宋苗紧接着中国驻纽约总领馆文化参赞李立言讲话之后，也作了发言，随后开始放映著名导演丁晟执导的纪实警匪片《解救吾先生》。放映结束，著名导演丁晟和著名演员吴若朴上台与台下的观众互动解答问题。美国久安电视国际传媒公益事工部主任、主持人李娜（李恩惠）和自由撰稿人腾安妮与台上的导演丁晟和名演员吴若甫现场进行了问答对话。中加国际电影节纽约电影放映会由李魏主持。

参加中加国际电影节除了多名中国电影制作人和演员外，主办方还邀请到了下列嘉宾：中国国家新闻出版广电总局电影局副局长周建东、中国国家新闻出版广电总局电影局国际交流处处长赵亚茹、中国国家新闻出版广电总局电影卫星频道节目制作中心创作部主任唐科、中国电影科学技术研究所特效技术研究室副主任宋强。

代表团除了出席本次在蒙特利尔电影节多个交流会议和电影节闭幕仪式，也会访问加拿大多伦多和美国纽约。本届中加国际电影节也得到了中华人民共和国驻蒙特利尔和多伦多两地的领事馆支持和指导。
